For Dinner

Family Meal Time is something many strive for and few succeed at making consistent, my family included! Planning ahead and pure stubbornness at protecting the time have been the biggest keys to success when it comes to sitting down together as a family to practice table manners, catch up on the day’s events, and continue building relationships as a whole. Though it seems crazy hard to accomplish something so simple, never underestimate the power of coming together without electronic devices to share a meal together!

I’m not a foodie or a fabulous magician in the kitchen, but I don’t have to be to create delicious food made with love for our family to bond over…..even if it’s to the sound of the smoke alarm sometimes! Here are some of our favorite recipes that are tried and true (and usually pretty simple to create). My daughter, who actually is a magician in the kitchen, specifically in the dessert genre, will be posting her favorite secret sweets as well.

Whether you try one of these recipes or make your own, make a plan to set aside a few nights this week for family dinners – then guard those nights with your life! 🙂
